Ancient Scrolls Scorched By Vesuvius May Be Read Again

Having been to Pompeii and walking through the ruins, I can’t help but fine intrigue in the prospect of being able to read ancient scrolls found from the ruins 260 years ago.

I am also incredibly interested in the possibility of a lower-level library that hasn’t been excavated yet. This would mean a whole massive library of scrolls that would give us understanding to a world we can only guess at.

…just imagine how being able to read these ancient scrolls might just change the way we think of history. I truly love the idea that new technology is the only way to revisit the ancient past. Seems ironic doesn’t it?
